Are you getting frustrated when you try to make basic changes to your WordPress website?
In my Basic WordPress Customization workshop, I'll show you how to make those changes to your site!
How does it work?
Once you're signed up, you'll come in and we'll go through what you're looking to do. If others in the group are looking to do the same thing we'll all go through together, otherwise I'll sit down with you one-on-one and we'll go through making that change.
We'll keep going for as long as you'd like to stay during the time of the workshop and get as many changes to your site done!
Will we be able to make every change I'd like to do to my site?
It depends! I keep the groups small so we have as much time as possible, but if you have a lot of changes to make or your theme is hard to work with, we might not be able to get them all in.
Regardless you'll leave with more knowledge about making changes to your site as you did when you came in!
Do I need to know anything about coding?
Even if you don't know anything about coding/CSS/HTML, we'll go through what you're looking to do and find the best way to do it!
What if the changes I want to make to my site are more advanced?
I'll do my best to point you in the right direction, but we might not have time to go through more complex changes.
The only obstacle for me would have been finding time to make an appointment, but your flexible hours made it very convenient!
I learned more about different hosting capabilities and what they offer. I also learned the importance of backup and security - a hugely important aspect to owning a website.
I appreciate that it was one on one in order to ask specific questions pertaining to my website. Because everyone is at a different level with WordPress and each website is different, it is useful to be able to ask specific questions and hone in on a specific issue.
I would definitely recommend the workshop - for any blogger or website owner, it's important to be knowledgeable in WordPress and understand about backups and what makes for an efficient website in general. It is valuable to have someone take a look at your website and see what you could be doing more efficiently. Having a workshop that is one on one like this is especially very helpful and is an excellent resource.
